Dave is a New York ad guy (Chiat/Day NY; Anderson & Lembke) who moved his office about 30 miles uptown. Although he's won awards as a writer and creative director, he's equally at home in his left brain. ("That's why Alex and I have worked to build an agency that's as strong strategically as it is creatively," he says.) Over 20 years he's served every kind of client, from American Express and Schick to MTV and America Online. But that's just his day job. He's also a folksinger on the local circuit, a passionate skier and an unapologetic Yankee fan.
Alex has been an award-winning creative director and designer for over 20 years. He is a frequent writer and lecturer on communication design, and his work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution, the Museum of Modern Art, and SFMOMA. Alex is currently a critic at the Yale Graduate School of Art and recently completed a term as President of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) New York. Alex began his career at the influential M&Co. in New York City. He founded the design firm Alexander Isley Inc. in 1988.
Alex joined Dave Goldenberg in creating The Dave and Eddy Show in 1999. Alex lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
Susan brings almost 30 years of accounting experience to The Dave and Eddy Show. Prior to joining the agency, Susan held accounting positions at Brinks Inc., US Surgical and Natural World – MLM.
Susan has been with The Dave and Eddy Show since its inception. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters.
Kevin is a writer with years of business-to-business experience. Prior to joining The Dave and Eddy Show, he spent three years at Mentor Media Group, a firm specializing in the development of just-in-time multimedia communication, learning and support software. He has worked with such clients as IBM, Lotus, Microsoft, AOL, Pepsi, WalMart, GE, Toshiba and NETGEAR. He has also worked in the promotions world, most recently at the agency TracyLocke. In his spare time, Kevin has been seen on stage as the lead singer in a local band—and he guarantees that he will one day win the World Series of Poker.
Daryn Murphy-Art is an account executive with a strong background in launching and coordinating complex marketing and promotions campaigns. She managed national, local and grassroots marketing for the Dew Action Sports Tour. Prior to the tour, she developed loyalty marketing programs at Octagon, Inc. for clients including US Youth Soccer and Unilever's Minor League Baseball account. Also, Daryn can do a bicycle kick.
Lisa joined The Dave and Eddy Show with years of creative and studio managing under her belt. For years she juggled deadlines and presentations at Chiat/Day in NYC as both a studio artist and manager, with clients that included, Royal Caribbean, American Express, MTV and Reebok. She is also the founder of Lisa Scroggins Ceramic Design. Lisa is not only creative but also extremely detail-oriented and deadline-savvy. When she is not at The Dave and Eddy Show managing the office, she can be found sculpting lizards and frogs out of clay in her studio.
